Sarah Gill

I am a seasoned Employment law specialist.   I trained and qualified as a solicitor at Wragge & Co LLP (now Gowlings LLP) where I worked for nine years before moving to Nabarro LLP (now CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP) in 2013 where I worked as a Senior Associate for seven years.  I joined Worden Richmond in June 2020.

I act for individuals and employers on a wide range of employment law issues across a broad range of industry sectors.  I have been seconded to two client companies (one in the Insurance sector and the other in the Construction sector) which really enhanced my understanding of my clients’ perspective.

I enjoy helping clients to navigate the ever-changing legal framework and to find solutions to their employment law related issues.   I have extensive experience of drafting employment contracts, policies, procedures and handbooks; advising on workplace grievances, disciplinaries and disputes; negotiating exits and related settlement agreements; advising on restructurings and redundancies; advising on employment law claims and process as well as internal investigations; TUPE and outsourcings; IR35; pay reporting; Modern Slavery; the government’s Good Work Plan; GDPR; and employment law issues arising from Brexit.

I am a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, and I edited the Employment law related chapter of the Pensions Law Handbook (14th edition).
