Paula New

I trained and qualified as a solicitor at leading international firm Eversheds LLP (now Eversheds Sutherland) where I spent 11 years of my career specialising in employment law, most recently as a Senior Associate Solicitor.

Since May 2015 I have enjoyed the flexibility and independence of continuing my career in a consultancy capacity.

I have extensive experience of advising both employers and employees on all UK HR-related matters, both contentious and non-contentious. I have particular experience in handling complex employment disputes in the Employment Tribunal and High Court, and the associated settlement negotiations.

I also have considerable expertise in conducting complex or sensitive disciplinary and grievance investigations, having been appointed by a variety of large and smaller employers in circumstances when an internal investigation is inappropriate.

I am a member of the Employment Lawyers' Association.
