I trained and qualified as a solicitor at City law firm, Stephenson Harwood LLP, and have over 10 years post qualification experience in employment law.
I advise both individuals and businesses on workplace matters and have experience of employment law issues that span the full employment life cycle.
As well as assisting businesses with day to day employment law issues, such as drafting policies and procedures, I also advise them on restructuring, changes of terms and conditions, and redundancies.
I act for businesses and individuals on the drafting and negotiation of all contractual documents required for new roles, including employment contracts, consultancy agreements, and appointment letters for all levels of individuals, ranging from board members to more junior employees and workers.
I advise on workplace disputes, including disciplinaries, dismissals and grievances, covering claims such as harassment, discrimination and whistleblowing. I also negotiate settlement agreements on behalf of individuals and companies and represent them in Employment Tribunal cases.
My client base is broad. I have acted for clients in a number of different sectors, including Financial Services, Professional Services, Energy, Manufacturing and Transport.
I am a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
